Defeat of Telephones banishes relegation fears

Home win ensures Toolstation league status
A brace from Sam Gregory and a stunning solo effort from Mason Harrison secured the points for the miners and made mathematically certain that the the club wouldn't be facing relegation. A largely forgettable game that was played on a bone hard pitch in very warm conditions but the performance was always going to be secondary to the result and the hosts always looked like they would have enough to win the game. However, with the score standing at 1-0 just after the hour Simon Millard was given a red card for an innocuous challenge on the edge of the box which the referee decided had denied a genuine goal scoring opportunity. The ten men of Radstock dug in though and scored twice in the last half hour and to be honest could have had more without ever being really extended.
